Overview
Learning Intentions (Objectives)
1) Students will develop the relationship of the sides of 45-45-90 and 30-60-90 degree triangles, and define trigonometric ratios for right triangles.
2) Students will apply trigonometric ratios to real-world problems.
Rationale (Diagnostic Results)
You might make assumptions about information not given in a triangle. You may assume all right triangles are 45-45-90 degrees. You may use incorrect trigonometric ratios to solve problems. You might fail to see a complementary relationship between sin and cos in a right triangle.
