POLQ 3 | Lesson 4 | Practice (Writing in Center-Radius Form)

Writing in Center-Radius Form

In order to change the standard equation of a circle to the circle-radius form, you will need to complete the square.

1) \(x^2+y^2-10x+4y+17 = 0\)

2) \(x^2+y^2-8x-24y+144 = 0\)

3) \(x^2+y^2+4x+6y-12 = 0\)

Once you have the these equations in circle form, draw a sketch of the circle. Which equation form made it easier to draw these sketches. Why?
