1).  \(x^2 + y^2 + 6x -4y – 3 = 0\)

 \(x^2 + 6x + y^2 -4y = 3\)

     \(x^2 +6x + 9 + y^2 -4y + 4 = 3 + 9 + 4\)

 \((x+ 3)^2 + (y – 2)^2 = 16\)

∴ center is at (-3, 2) and radius is 4

2.  center at \(1, 4)\) and radius is 3

\((x-1)^2 + (y – 4)^2 = 9\)

\(x^2 -2x + 1 + y^2 -8y + 16 = 9\)

\(x^2 + y^2 -2x -8y + 8=0\)
