LINR 3 | Lesson 2 | Supplement 3

Cell phone highlighted points

Information about the points should include the following:

  • The point \((40,0)\) represents the maximum number of no-frills phones that can be manufactured in the allotted \(80\) hours \(= 40\).
  • The point \((0,20)\) represents the maximum number of high end phones that can be manufactured in 80 hours if no no-frills phones are produced.
  • \((25,0)\) and \((0,25)\) are the maximum number of each of No-frills and Hi-End phones that can be produced given the plant limitations.
  • \((10,15)\) represents the maximum number of each phone that can be produced that fills the plant capacity and uses all of the labor hours available (10 No-Frills phones and 15 Hi-End phones can be produced while maximizing both the time and capacity constraints).
